Chances are if you’ve managed to get your teaching schedule on Google Calendar it might look something like this.
This works for some, but others may prefer to further group these events by color. While it’s possible to change the color of individual events, there isn’t an efficient way to do this in bulk without some coding.
Apps Script can automate this process for you so you can get on with your day. I’ve made a web app that lets you paste the name of the event you want to color code, the date range, and finally select a color to apply. Watch the video below for a demonstration.
